Prayers for Peace
The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, in response to invitations to prayer from His Holiness, Pope John Paul II, has conducted weekly devotions to Mary during October — the month of the Holy Rosary — seeking solace for the nation and peace for the world.Given the current conditions, Msgr. Bransfield announced that the devotions will continue until the Advent Season.
